About the project

Mercedes-Benz G500 Landaulet 2001 – Black Custom Build with Red Folding Roof, Stretched Wheelbase, Portal Axles, AMG Wheels, and Maybach-Inspired Interior

This rare Mercedes G500 Landaulet 2001 has been completely rebuilt and transformed into an exclusive G-Wagon Landaulet conversion. Finished in black with a red mechanical folding roof, it combines the rugged heritage of the G-Class with the unmatched elegance of the Maybach Landaulet.

The wheelbase was stretched – the frame and body were cut, extended, and welded – to provide spacious comfort for rear passengers, just as the original Maybach Landaulet design. The SUV is built on portal axles, equipped with R20 AMG 8-bolt wheels, and fitted with a proper lifted suspension to support the extended body and ensure soft, stable, and comfortable driving.

Inside, the interior has been fully remanufactured, following the philosophy of the Maybach Landaulet. The cabin is completely re-trimmed with premium red leather and carbon fiber details, while the rear seats are separated, just like in the original chauffeur-style Landaulet layout, giving passengers true first-class luxury.

This Mercedes-Benz G500 Landaulet 2001 black custom build is a one-of-a-kind creation, merging classic G-Class off-road engineering with Maybach-inspired exclusivity, featuring a stretched wheelbase, portal axles, AMG wheels, carbon fiber elements, red folding roof, and handcrafted luxury interior.
