Mercedes-Benz W461 G-Class 1982 SWB 3-Door – Grey 2.3 Petrol, Mechanical Transmission, Suspension Lift, R18 Rims, Fiberglass Fenders, and Full Restoration

This classic Mercedes W461 G-Class 1982 SWB 3-door has been fully restored and upgraded, combining the heritage of the original G-Wagon with modern off-road performance. Powered by a 2.3 petrol engine with a mechanical transmission, it represents the essence of the early short-wheelbase G-Class models.

The SUV has been lifted with a suspension lift kit, fitted with R18 rims and 35-inch off-road tires, giving it an aggressive stance and excellent off-road capability. The body features fiberglass fender flares painted in dark grey, perfectly matched with AMG-style bumpers for a rugged yet stylish look.

The vehicle was completely restored – the frame and body were fully disassembled, renewed, and refinished to original standards, ensuring long-term reliability and factory-like precision.

Inside, the interior has been re-trimmed with eco-leather upholstery, giving a fresh, durable, and comfortable cabin while respecting the classic Mercedes W461 character.

This Mercedes-Benz W461 1982 G-Class SWB 3-door custom build is a unique example of vintage G-Wagon restoration, blending original mechanical engineering, lifted suspension, AMG-style details, fiberglass upgrades, and handcrafted eco-leather interior – making it a timeless collectible for classic G-Class enthusiasts.
